All Levanti Indian Sandstone Paving Slabs are calibrated to 25mm thickness (+/- 2mm).
Traditionally slabs came in with varying thicknesses, sometimes varying from 25 to 50mm! This made laying a time consuming task as it takes a long time adjusting the bed to ensure the surface is flat.
Levanti Indian Sandstone slabs all have their back face sawn to ensure the thickness is constant, so saving time in adjusting the bed thickness or the requirement for excessive tamping of the slab.
