PorcelQuick has been shortlisted as a finalist in the first ever Tomorrow’s Tile & Stone Awards and voting is now open. New for 2018, the Awards are designed to celebrate some of the finest innovations and time-tested solutions that enable you to get the job done on time and to the highest standards.
Georgie Whitworth, Editor of Tomorrow’s Tile & Stone, said: “Since the launch of Tomorrow’s Tile & Stone in early 2016, we have seen the tiling industry go from strength to strength and we’re very excited to have the chance to celebrate the revolutions changing the face of the sector in our Awards. Choosing a list of just 20 products and services was tough but we think the finalists are all truly remarkable and we want to make sure they get the recognition they deserve. Make sure that you take the time to vote for your winners and show the importance of the reader’s choice.”
PorcelQuick is an innovative system for installing external porcelain tiles which reduces the material requirement for the installation by up to 80%, as well as reducing the carbon footprint. Using Adped rings and a mix of sand & cement, a series of pedestals are created which the tiles are then installed onto. Grout Backer Rod is inserted into the joints so that the grout does not fall through the joint into the void beneath the tiles. This system is perfect for terraced houses or gardens with limited access thanks to the small amount of materials that need to be transported to the site.
Voting is open until Friday 16th March. Read more about PorcelQuick and the other products nominated in the Tomorrow’s Tile & Stone 2018 Awards Guide.
